I'm not saying that I condone it... just that I understand. People do some really stupid stuff on the road. Combine stupid driving actions with snow/ice and you have a deadly combination. This morning, a woman decided she needed to jump in front of me at a short distance. There were no cars behind me. I was wondering why she could not simply wait for me to pass. The roads were slick. She could have easily lost control and then hit me as a result. I was in the car talking (ok, yelling) to myself during and after her foolish driving.
Another crazy driver decided to jump into a snow/slush filled lane at a high speed. I was in the center lane hoping and praying he wouldn't slide on the snow and hit me. With a bit of maneuvering on his part, he was able to stabilize his vehicle in that one lane. Meanwhile, I was preparing to minimize whatever collision may have occured.
Slow down people. You'll get there when you get there. In the meantime, don't ruin someone else's day by being in a rush and causing an unnecessary accident. Now you are late anyway, and you dragged a complete stranger into your madness.
