Bracelets for Sydney

A friend/coworker recently had a bouncing baby boy. She asked that I make a bracelet for her daughter to celebrate her new big sister hood. I've made 2 bracelets. Here they are as photographed by my camera phone. It took all of 10 minutes to make them. Most of my time was taken finding the right letters in my alphabet bead collection.


P.S. I am STILL working on those bookmarks. Business in life has delayed the efforts along with my underestimating how long it would take to do them in the first place. I am in the process of moving... once I am settled I will finish the bookmarks and deliver them with my apologies.

Catching Up

It's been a while since I last posted. I am still working on bookmark 3 of 4. I am in the process of launching an application at work and moving to a new apartment. Long story short, there's lots going on in my world. I hope to get the bookmarks finished before I move, but I can't hardly make any promises. I am trying to pack a little bit at a time each night. I have a lot of "stuff"... crafts, books and stuff. I've already packed about 8 boxes of just books! And I still have 2 more book racks and a night stand full of books to pack. And that's JUST books. Also, I have 2 boxes of books that I plan to donate. Sigh. What's a girl to do?

Anyway, I've just been busy but I didn't want to neglect my blog. I'll be posting more in the fall, I'm sure.
